1. a “paperless office” will never exist, rather a “less paper office” is more realistic
2. a copy machine will never work when you need it to, ever.
3. every scan is a security risk that we are just now worried about..
4. when someone holds the copier up with a 500 page print, its more than annoying, it can bring suicidal tendencies.
4a.but is that to say you have never had to “delete” the job from the “print que”…
5. most copiers come with an interrupt button , do they ever get used? no.
The solution, if you’re an accountant. Marry a copier salesman 😉

So, the only firm that i know of that is that anal about copies and paper is a big four and it starts with a K. As for the other big three, the copier is something only used by the Admins, Interns & First Years; and it is not to make copies, but to scan and email so we can get the all important soft copy…see prior post.

Love it. As an accountant, I can’t make enough copies! I usually spend the last day of fieldwork frantically making copies of original documents “just in case.”
And amen to the inconsiderate jerk who must print 500 copies of something and totally eff’s up the copier workflow. What an asshole.
